Lisa is the Head of the Therapeutic Goods Administrations Laboratories Branch. The Laboratories Branch is responsible for testing the quality and performance of medicines and medical devices, evaluations of medicines and medical devices, provision of technical advice and contributions to standards development. Lisa’s undergraduate degree is in biochemistry and molecular biology. She has a PhD in immunology and a MBA specialising in public sector management. Lisa has worked at TGA for more than 20 years in a variety of roles. Most recently she has worked with the World Health Organization to develop a Regional Alliance for national regulatory authorities, closely with DFAT to design and implement a therapeutic goods testing program for 13 countries in the Western Pacific Region. She also serves as the Program Director for the TGA Digital and Business Transformation Program. Lisa was awarded the Australian Public Service Medal in the Queen’s Birthday 2022 Honours List and she was included in the Governor General’s COVID-19 Honour Roll.
