Edmund Lau is widely known as a 10x Productive Psoriasis Chronic Patient. As a Committee Member of the World Patients Alliance and Psoriasis Association of Singapore, he champions the voices of patients globally, advocating for improved healthcare access, patient rights, patient safety and patient empowerment.
With over 25 years of experience across various industries, including business development, sales, marketing, and management, Edmund has worked with multinational enterprises (MNEs), small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in sectors such as education, consultancy, and environmentally friendly industries across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions.
His expertise extends to providing globally competitive consultancy services that support organisations in building capabilities, advancing core businesses, and accessing global opportunities in a fast-changing world.
In addition to his professional roles, he is an Associate Lecturer with several international universities, teaching both Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes since 2002. He advocates for the importance of balancing life through the “Wheel of Life” concept, encouraging individuals to achieve a fulfilling and meaningful life despite chronic health challenges.
His advocacy is driven by a desire to ensure that every individual, particularly those with chronic conditions, can live productively while contributing positively to their communities, economy, and society.
