Alice is a registered Pharmacist and member of the Malaysian Pharmacists Society. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from University of Science Malaysia, and Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Analysis from Strathclyde University in Glasgow, UK. She has worked 14 years in Ministry of Health, Malaysia covering various areas, and 18 years of management and leadership role in multinational pharmaceutical companies.
Alice is presently Regulatory Consultant for the Pharmaceutical Association of Malaysia (PhAMA). She is active in regional activities as the current Chair of APRIA (ASEAN Pharmaceutical Research Industry Association), and in APAC (Asia Partnership Conference of Pharmaceutical Associations) as member of several APAC Expert Working Groups.
She was a member of the Malaysian Pharmacy Board from 2020 to 2023. And is currently an appointed industry representative in the National Rare Disease Committee, National Committee for Bioequivalence Study, and National Medicines Policy Committee for the Quality-Safety-Efficacy component. She has been actively involved with driving and organizing training programs in the Malaysian pharmaceutical industry, including training of Preceptors for the Non-Manufacturing Pharmaceutical Industry’s PRP (Provisionally Registered Pharmacist) program.
With her years of experience in regulatory affairs, Alice continues to advocate for innovation and regulatory excellence in the pharmaceutical industry.
